The most valuable thing I learned from my therapist was this: write things down.

Now, this isn’t Little House on the Prairie. I’m not grabbing a journal and quill. I’m going to type it out, but the point remains.

You have to get your thoughts out of your head, especially the bad ones. If not, they’ll rot and fester.

I keep a lot of my thoughts to myself. My OneNote, Google Keep, and Apple Notes are full of chaos.

Nobody will ever see those thoughts. But if I ever need to, I could trade them in for a free pair of grippy socks.

Some thoughts feel less persecutable? valid? embarrasing? punishible?

Anyways, if by some random chance you’re reading this, try it. If you’re having trouble focusing or if you’re feeling overwhelmed or scattered.

Just write. Just type. Just let your brain spew. Get those thoughts out before they fester and rot.
